My parents dog has went into labor but she has not had any puppies. she keeps pushing but isn't really getting anywhere.
SEE THE VET IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!
This sometimes happens with a strangled uterus or if she needs a C-section.
She is now 8 months old and seems little overgrown. Please help!!! I feed her Iams for puppies.

I would say that precious still has some growing to do. Judging from her fine coat though and the way she is licking her lips, you are dong a great job of keeping her healthy. Keep up the good work.
PS: She should not get over 100 pounds when she is fully mature. If she does, contact her breeder, I am sure he/she would be happy to help you.

I would like to find a breeder who is legit, and doesnt over produce thier puppies or breed mother son, or runs aa puppy mill.
Does anyone know of a good chihuahua breeder in new jersey new york or connecticut?
dog is my co pilot -> hahaha about the if i want a teacup anything i should get a hamster. ![]()
btw im not looking for a teacup chihuahua for fashion purposes, i wanted a smaller dog since i travel alot and want to be able to bring the dog with my in the cabin instead of having suffer in the cargo.
You won't find a legit breeder that produces teacup anything. ALL Chihuahuas are tiny.
Teacup dogs come from Back Yard Breeders and Pet Stores(aka Puppy Mills).

As for the top poster, that is a commercial breeding business, and reeks Puppy Mill. "Feel free to see the showroom"…Bull. You should feel free to see the WHOLE PLACE. Not just where they show and tell the puppies. See the parents, contracts, health contracts, etc.
My puppy is an 8 week old teacup chihuahua/shihtzu. Although I know some crying and whining is normal at this age, I want to help form good manners, starting now. I have read ALOT of articles online, some saying to just leave him alone and ignore him when he whines and treat him when he doesn’t, others say to scold when he whines. What is your personal experience!?
whines alot in his crate, and sometimes just randomly (even after potty, eating, drinking). he craves attention!!!
WOW ok sorry i said teacup. i have a VERY VERY VERY small dog
who is healthy ![]()
Training and consistency, and start now while the puppy is still young.
If he is whining in his crate, don't let him out, as he will associate whining with getting his way. You don't want him to view being in the crate as punishment and being out of the crate as a reward. You can try to comfort and calm him for short periods of time while he is in the crate, but don't let him out until he settles down. But make sure you aren't keeping him in his crate longer than what is recommended for his age, either.
Look into a good puppy and dog obedience school in your area. Even small dogs need obedience training.
