How do I get my Chihuahua to be real Muscular?
I have a two year old Chihuahua named Rocky.Hes a full blooded Chihuahua and a tall breed, but he's really skinny and unhealthy looking.Plus with a name like Rocky I kinda wanted to make him a little more muscular and healthy looking.Any suggestions
Chihuahua's aren't meant to be muscular.
Give him a good food,no corn ect.
Walk him, play fetch with him.
And the rest is genetics. If you wanted a "Rocky" you should have bought a bigger muscular dog.

chihuahuas arent suppose to be real muscular. his genes determine that.

Start taking him on daily walks. This not only keeps your dog healthier, it keeps them from getting depressed. (Believe me, dogs do!) Also, if he is looking unhealthily skinny, maybe take him to a vet who'll suggest a more nourishing food for him.

A muscle-bound Chi huh? A few things to look at: What are you feeding him? Is it a high-quality food or is it cheap stuff made of corn/wheat/soybeans and other fillers that he can't digest to turn into muscle. What type of exercise is he getting? Are you taking him for walks or playing fetch with him to get him moving to build up those muscles? What do his parents look like? If they are both slender odds are you arent' going to be able to bulk him up as much as you'd like. Have you talked to your vet as to his health and what they recommend? Supplement his diet with probiotics found in good pet stores or simply a really good yogurt. Best of luck to you and the little champ!

Have you seen your Chihuahua? He all ears and balls. Muscular he is not. But to keep him in good shape walk him for 15 minutes each day. Be sure to have some play time also.
