Teacup Chihuahuas Are Fun to Own
Teacup Chihuahuas are a small sized but steady type of dog. Due to its sweet and charming nature, it makes friends very easily. Soft daylight, fresh air and regular exercising affect the health of a Teacup Chihuahua. Although their friendly attitude is really adorable, it may endanger them as well. Good nutrition, warmth, affection and exercise are vital to Teacup Chihuahuas' health. Healthy and balanced nutrition is also required, otherwise it may lead to health complications such as obesity and crippling bone diseases.

They're made of stuffing and have plastic eyes. They usually weigh a pound. I would check Toys R Us. Good luck!

"Teacups" are less than 4 lbs full grown. They are adorable but are more likely to have health problems and die at a younger age. Be sure to do your homework before buying.

Sorry, the word "Teacup" is only used as a marketing tool to sell the runts of Chihuahuas and other breeds.
http://www.mollnarschihuahuas.com/ Look at this breeder's page. I would start asking them questions about their dogs, even if you don't get one from them. They show their dogs and seem very knowledgeable about the breed. They have alot of infomation. A good breeder will want to help you.

ah these questions aggrevate me so much! lol There is not such thing as a teacup chi, if someone is selling you a teacup chi it only means they are the runt of the litter and they are sickly and will have very bad health. I know the idea of a teacup is great, having such a tiny, tiny pet, but it's not worth getting a 'teacup' because of the health risk.

Their is no such Breed as a teacup chihuahua they are only runs who are some times sick a chihuahua only weighs 6 pounds or less so why would you want any dog smaller than that like 4-6 pounds because chihuahuas a already a small breed. But it is your choice if you want to believe tha they are any better than a regular chihuahua if you want one just buy one.

Don't get a teacup! They are just runts! They are just being bred to runts! The average size and wieght for this dog will be smaller than the brreds standerd weight! Try getting a toy, sporting, non-sporting, working, herding or hound dog. Please don't support byb's or puppy mills! Dont buy from anyone who sells teacup dogs!
