Why is my one pound long haired Chihuahua shaking so bad?

I just got my long haired Chihuahua yesterday. he stops after a while but once you pick him up he starts shaking. Just different times he starts shaking. He barks a lot too! Is there anyway I can make him stop barking(later on down the road because he is too young) and help him stop shaking?

I breed chihauhuas. Shaking is perfectly normal. I f you just got him yesterday he is probably shaking because hes nervous being in a new setting their nerves are so bad. Hell calm down but theyll still shake every time they get cold, scaredd, or even have to use the bathroom!

IS YOUR NEWF GELLIN'? @ 7:54 am

That is what Chihuahuas do. They shake and they bark.

He's probably scared of you. Let him get used to your house before you start handling.

Chi's are notorious for shaking and barking….it's just what they do. And no, you can't stop a dog from barking.
