I really really want a teacup puppy! I don’t want to spend more than $200 tops. Does anyone have one you’d like to get rid of? I’ll take very good care of him/her. I don’t have a preferance as to gender. I live in southeast Texas so hopefully someone close to me has one.
“Teacup” dogs are poorly bred dogs that usually come with a hefty vet bill. Your best bet is to look at maltese and chihuahua rescues in your area. Rescuing a dog is so rewarding! If you can’t find a perfect match, then contact a reputable breeder, but you usually can’t get a dog from a breeder for less than a few hundred dollars. I would recommend petfinder.com because you can search specific breeds and/or sizes of dogs.

No you don’t really want a “teacup” puppy. There really isn’t a real classification known as a “teacup”. This is a term irresponsible breeders use to sell undersized puppies. These puppies are often unhealthy and very fragile.
If you want a Maltese or a Chihuahua then get one from a responsible breeder or from a rescue. Don’t line the pockets of an irresponsible breeder.
