I'm looking for a teacup chihuahua dog for my girlfriends birthday in the girlbert, az area for cheapp ?
There is no such thing as a Teacup anything. So-Called Teacups are "Runts"(Smallest puppy in the litter)! Teacup is a term that irresponsible Backyard Breeders use, who don't care anything about the welfare of their dogs, when they breed one Runt to another Runt, in order to achieve smaller puppies. They charge outrageous prices for profit and rip people off! When you see someone advertising Teacups, run as fast as you can in the other direction. Most of these puppies, have major health problem and don't have very long lives. The people breeding these poor Runts, don't care if they die, while they are whelping (delivering) their puppies or not. They just move on to the next Runt and the process keeps repeating itself. I used to breed Chihuahuas and I do have Runts that are from normal litters. When I was breeding, I never even once, considered or would be willing to risk my Runts lives for the purpose of getting smaller puppies. Please go to your local Shelter or Chihuahua Rescue. I'm sure you will find the perfect puppy for your girlfriend and a great little companion. Before you buy your girlfriend a dog for her Birthday, please talk to her first and make sure that she wants a dog and is ready to properly care for one. She may even want to pick out her own puppy from a Shelter or a Rescue. You would be saving a little life, and that is a great feeling! Remember no dog is ever cheap. Please make sure that your girlfriend will be able to afford proper veterinary care, high quality food, supplies, etc…

You're not going to find a pure toy breed cheap. And Gilbert isn't exactly known as a puppy breeding capital. Best of luck!

There is NO such thing as a "teacup" dog. Those are the runts of the litter that get bred with other litter runts- dogs that normally wouldn't be "allowed" to survive by the mother. They are basically inbred, very sickly, and have poor genetics. The uninformed public will pay thousands of dollars for these types of animals, and it's sad to see so many of them in shelters. May I suggest that you NOT get your gf a dog for her birthday, but get her a cute dog collar or wrap up a nice leash and then you and she go out together to animal shelters and pick one out as a couple? Pets are horrible gifts.

If you want cheap, then don't get anything labeled "teacup" – They're poorly bred runts of runts and will cost you a fortune in health problems.
Look for a Chihuahua Rescue Organization – You can find references on the Chihuahua Club of America site http://www.chihuahuaclubofamerica.com/

Word to the wise : don't get a teacup!
Teacup chihuahuas' aren't actually a breed, there is no such thing as a 'teacup' size – it is just breeders who are breeding over & over unusually small dogs. Dogs bred this small on purpose will have a LOT of health issues.
It's best to get a regular chihuahua.
Put an add up on your local Craigslist or Kijiji. That is how I found my 2 cats & puppy.
