How many babies can a teacup chihuahua have?
My teacup chihuahua is pregnant, and we wanted to know the average of babies she can have in advance, so that we can prepare for them.
None sweetie…your doggie will only ever have puppies.

There's no such thing as a "teacup" chihuahua – you simply have an undersized dog. You should have known before you bred this dog how many puppies she could have – lots of things factor into it. Another back yard breeder without any knowledge at all bringing more unwanted pets into the world!

About 1/2 a cup.

It is not a good idea breeding a female "teacup" as she can die during the birthing process, so be prepared for the worst. If she seems to be struggling she may need a c section. she may have 2 or 3, maybe… You should not have allowed her to become pregnant to start with especially if you dont know how many puppies she may have. Sheesh!

there is no such thing as a tea cup so I would not know also you should looked this up b4 you get her prego

An ultra sound from the Vet can tell you that. Or an experienced Vet, by palpitation of the abdomen. Generally one to three pup's is the norm.

Almost always ONE…but can have TWO AND IF VERY LUCKY BUT VERY then THREE. Mine had two!!

My Chihuahua had BABBIES!!!!
first, you shouldn't have let her get pregnant if you have no thought to even take her to the vet. They would do an ultrasound or something and tell you exactly how many. If you are not a professional breeder/very experienced one.. it is really not a good idea. take her to the vet immediately to have her checked out. The vet can tell you if she is doing ok and how many she will probably have.
and yes, you need to keep an close on on here (but since you don't really have any idea what ur doing, then id have a vet keep a close eye on her, because it is very likely she may need a c-section because she is so small. If she doesn't get a c-section ASAP if she's having alot of trouble, then she may die)

Okay are you aware of the fact that most small chihuahuas have to have c-sections and they can be extremely costly? Or if the puppy is too big she and the puppy could die ? I wish people would consider these things when they try to breed undersize dogs . Im sorry if this offends you but it is the truth and they can or usually only have 1 puppy and you better hope that she does not need a c-section . good luck to you.
